What We Do

Fering exists to redefine mobility for extreme environments through precision engineering, sustainable technology and user-focused design. Our mission is to create vehicles that enable people to operate independently, efficiently and with confidence in places where conventional platforms cannot perform.

Fering was founded in 2019 with a single ambitious goal: to build a self-sufficient vehicle capable of travelling from pole to pole. This challenge shaped the company’s engineering philosophy around extreme range, modularity and low environmental impact. The engineering team behind Fering includes individuals who contributed to some of the world’s most advanced performance vehicles, including the Mercedes SLR, LaFerrari, the McLaren P1 and the Caparo T1.

This background in lightweight structures and high-efficiency design directly influenced the development of the Pioneer. The first Pioneer prototype proved the viability of long-range hybrid electric mobility in real-world conditions. Building on that foundation, the introduction of Pioneer X in 2025 extended the platform into expeditionary and military applications, demonstrating how the same engineering principles could support specialist, high-demand missions.
